I wasfloodedwith highlyappreciative lettersfrom all cornersof Indiaandabroad!Thisgivesme immensesatisfaction andencouragemLnt in this academic venture.

I have corresponded with manybiochernistry teachers, invitingtheir commentsandopinionsfor further improvingthe book.Mostof them havebeenkind enoughto offerconstructive suggestions. I alsovisited several colleges andhadpersonal interactionwith facultymembers andstudents. Theseexercises, spread over the past 6 years,have helpedme to get direct feedbackon my book, besidesrealisingthe additional requirements of students.

However, it is beyond my capability to keeptrackof theevergrowing advances in biochemistry due to the exponentialSrowthof the subject.And this makesme nervous,wheneverI think of revisingthe book.I honestlyadmit that I haveto dependon maturereaders for subsequent editionsof this book.
